EpicGear AnurA – World’s First Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse with HDST™ Sensor Technology

Taipei, Taiwan – 31, January 2014 EpicGear, international vendor of high-quality and competitive-oriented gaming peripherals, announces its first ambidextrous gaming mouse, the AnurA. Being comparatively smaller than other mice, and symmetrical, the AnurA is not only catering to the needs of left and right-handed gamers, but also accommodates claw and tip grip users alike. With a minimal lift-off distance of one millimeter and a sensitivity of up to 6,030 dpi, the AnurA ensures high gliding agility and fast movements with flawless accuracy. All EpicGear gaming mice are co-designed along with pro-gamers who constantly give feedback on ergonomics, software and design. Along with the release of the AnurA, EpicGear further presents an updated version of their patented HDST™ Technology, which facilitates total control. The AnurA is available from 31th of January for an MSRP of $75USD.

High Precision with HDST™ Sensor Technology
With the EpicGear AnurA gamers can choose between three different sensor modes: optical (IR-LED), laser and HDST™. HDST™ refers to Hybrid Dual Sensor Technology, which enables the ARM 32 bit processor to actuate the optical sensor and the laser sensor simultaneously.  Due to this, the AnurA negates common sensor problems of jitter, skip and drift and is the perfect gear for everyone with high demands of precision.

Proven Ergonomics by Professional Gamers
AnurA stands for rapid movements, fast commands and total control. The ergonomics of the short, lightweight chassis have been co-developed by pro-gamers, who have tested the comfort during long-lasting gaming sessions. Utilising either tip grip or claw grip, the AnurA is a devastating gaming weapon on digital battlefields. Anti-slip textured surfaces guarantee a strong grip. All 11 buttons are programmable via in-built software and therefore can be adjusted to the needs of right and left-handed gamers.

“I had the chance to test-drive the EpicGear AnurA and after playing some matches using the optical mode I tried the HDST mode for better tracking,” says Mousesports team member and pro-gamer Dennis ‘mouz HasuObs’ Schneider. “I was very surprised by the absolutely precise cursor movements. Other gaming mice often stop working properly when there is too much action, but EpicGear’s AnurA kept track of every single move while still being 100% accurate in every situation.“
